June was a big month for Ultra Trail Australia (UTA) planning as well as checking out some local Parkruns.
The Month of May was a big one for getting a new Marathon PB, exploring a new local Parkrun and looking ahead to how I can achieve another big Goal in 2022.
January was going to be all things Pier to Pub. Frustratingly COVID strikes again. The move to a virtual event was very disappointing however not entirely unexpected.
My biggest run for the year has now been completed. In early December, I finally completed the Surf Coast Century!
It’s that time of year. The gyms are full, motivation is peaking and the inevitable drop in daily workouts has not yet come to pass. Resolutions have been dreamt up (or stolen from others), never to be achieved.
Only a few more sleeps to go before the Surf Coast Century! Yes, I’m excited! Yes, I’m nervous!
Only one month away from the Surf Coast Century! It’s almost here and almost certainly not going to be postponed for a third time (fingers crossed!)
Here’s my race schedule for 2022 that will be used to gain UTMB Points, build experience and get stronger both mentally and physically in my racing.
It’s still all things Surf Coast Century! It’s been postponed again so it’s just a matter of getting my body right.
